Christa’s Year of Weekly Giveaways #16 – Win a Craftsy Class of Your Choice

I am so pleased that Craftsy is sponsoring this week’s giveaway! One lucky winner will receive any Craftsy Class of their choice!

Craftsy ClassesEarlier this week I was blogging about some of the machine quilting classes I have taken and I’ve already signed up for 5 more classes I can’t wait to watch – including some free ones!

You can read my Angela Walters Quilting Class review here and my Cindy Needham class review here.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with Craftsy, it’s basically an online classroom where you can take your own private lesson from your favorite quilting instructors (or other favorite crafters).

Crafsty ClassesCraftsy films professional video lessons and then streams them to your account. The classes never expire and you can watch them over and over again as many times as you want.

But wait, that’s not all! (do I sound like a commercial yet?) I also love Craftsy because there are a bunch of free classes on the site, and tons of free quilting patterns, too!

If you are a designer type, you can sell your own patterns there or buy from some of your favorite blogger/designers (and some of them are free, too!)

Here’s how to enter:

  • Leave a comment telling me which Craftsy class you would like to take if you win.
  • For an extra entry, sign up for your free Craftsy Account here and check out some of the cool (free) stuff! (Leave a second comment when you do.)
  • If you already have an account, tell me which class you’ve taken or what else you like about the site.
  • I will randomly select a winner from all of the entries below.
  • Contest is open to everyone near and far.
  • Comments are open through Wednesday, July 31st at 3 PM Pacific.

Good luck and happy crafting!

Last Week’s Winner:

Thank you for your comments and input. We have our happy winner!

  2. I would love to take Elizabeth Hartman’s “Inspired Modern Quilts”. I have taken her Quilt back class and learned a lot. I also have taken Craftsy’s BOM classes and few other classes and love them all. Love the fact that I can watch it anytime and it’s always there for me.

  3. Tiffany says:

I have an account. I watched Elizabeth Hartmann’s free quilt backs class and it was excellent!

  9. Lynn says:

I already have a Craftsy account. I have done several classes with Craftsy- including the 2 free BOM Classes, Camilles Precut class, Charmaine Grossman Solomon’s, some free knitting ones and a free Pizza one. I also have a pile of patterns in my pattern library.

  10. Lynn says:

I would like to do a Free Motion Quilting class, (probably an Angela Walters one) and will enrol for Camille Roskelley’s new class when it becomes available.

  11. Karen says:

Camille’s Pre Cut Piecing class looks just the thing to encourage me to attack the growing collection of pre cuts that are accumulating in my sewing room.

  12. Kim Sanderson says:

I love Craftsy – I love Angela Walters QuiltCon lecture series. Would love to take her Machine Quilting Negative Space Class.

  13. Linda Webster says:

The class I would love to take is Angela Walter’s Freemotion Quilting. It’s something I’ve always wanted to try.

  15. Margaret M says:

  18. Jean Biette says:

I am already a Craftsy member and I definitely want to take Leah Day’s class on Freemotion Fillers #1. I am good at piecing quilts, but need to learn to top stitch an entire quilt for finishing. I have a pile of 6 unfinished quilts just for that reason !

  19. Nancy Chase says:

I am always looking for something new to try!

  20. ThreadTime says:

Oh, my gosh, there are so many I would like to sign up for. Tilton’s T-Shirt class, Leah Day’s free motion quilting are a couple of my top two.
I’ve taken both of Angela Walters, Cindy Needham’s, Elizabeth Hartman’s, Susan Khalji’s Couture Dress, Leather Bag making and other quilting and sewing classes. At last count I had over 21 classes… I’m a true Craftsy fan. Their platform is wonderful.

  21. Sharla T says:

I would love to take Camille Roskelley’s Pre-Cut Piecing class. Thanks for the chance

  22. ROBIN RODRIQUEZ says:

I would love to take “Machine Quilting Beautiful Borders” so I can get more quilts finished. Thank you.
