Hi! I’m Christa and I love to quilt!
I sell quilting fabric and supplies at ChristaQuilts.com. I began my love of quilting in 1994 when a friend of mine taught me to to quilt. I quickly fell into teaching quilting and stashing as much fabric as I could get my hands on.
Fast forward 3 kids and a business later and I am living the dream – quilting, teaching, blogging, and managing my online store full-time to support my creative passion. My husband Jason quit his job in 2007 to join in the fun. Now that our kids are a little older, they love to help, too!
My quilting style is very rooted in tradition, yet I’ve fallen in love with both modern and contemporary quilts. I love bold, bright colors, clean geometric lines, and negative space with ample room for extensive machine quilting. I adore machine applique, too!
I want to inspire others to find joy in creating their own quilts from start to finish. I do all of my own work on a Bernina sewing machine, and nothing beats the satisfaction of saying, “I quilted it myself!”
